Vanesa is an Adjunct Part-time Professor at the College of DuPage, where she teaches both beginning and intermediate levels of Spanish.  Vanesa graduated with an M.A. in Latina American Cultures and Literatures from Northeastern Illinois University. In addition to her academic background, Vanesa was raised in a Spanish-speaking home, her parents being native to Argentina and Cuba. Vanesa also teaches traditional Spanish Dance (flamenco) and performs on regular basis as a professional flamenco dancer around the Chicago area.
